A Few Questions

  1. Does any one person know everything?
  2. Does any one person know of everything?
  3. Does any one system of knowledge (such as one field of healthcare), or any one educational path (such as one healthcare education path) provide all of the answers?
  4. Sometimes we research something diligently, but we, and our circle of contacts (friends, family, coworkers, colleagues, healthcare practitioners, teachers, professional organizations, etc.) miss something very important. After encountering this, we can (option 1) simply recognize that it is not possible for one person (or one group of people) to know everything or know of everything, or (option 2) we can choose to disregard the things we missed as surely having no significant importance, truth, or value.
  5. The optimal path: choose to be open to researching new things, including possibly very big new things, which we, and our circle of contacts, may have missed in our prior research! Which of the above paths are you on? Are you on the optimal path?
