Biblical Faith and Health

1. Sola Scriptura (Scripture Alone)

Faith based upon the Bible's teachings as they are written. The Bible states in many places that we should all be of one accord. The only way to do so is to take the Bible as it has been written.

Acts 2:1: "And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place."
- Pentecost: "The day on which the Spirit descended upon the apostles ... and many thousands were converted."
- Apostles: "Ones sent forth."

2 Timothy 3:16: "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:"

John 4:24: "God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth."

John 17:17: "Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth."

John 8:32: "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."

2. Creation vs. Evolution

The first verse of the Bible, Genesis 1:1: "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth."

Either (1: the "big bang theory) absolutely nothing -- no intelligence, no matter, no space, no molecules, no energy (absolutely nothing) all of a sudden exploded in a "big bang" and created everything, including non-physical things such as love, other emotions, intelligence, creativity, math, energy, time and space, along with physical matter, music, beautiful horizons, our souls, and a whole lot more (What actually exploded, and how? Where did the "what" come from?) ... or (2: Biblical creation, as presented in the first two chapters of the Bible) something much greater than us, such as the God of the Bible, created everything.

Psalm 19:1: "The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament [expansion] sheweth his handywork."

3. Iaomai

Iaomai is the Greek word used in the Bible to describe healing. "Healing, particularly as supernatural and bringing attention to the Lord Himself as the great Physician... Draws attention to the Lord, the supernatural healer, i.e. beyond the physical healing itself and its benefits... To heal, make whole, perform healing." https://biblehub.com/greek/2390.htm.

Many healthcare concerns clearly have a spiritual-related basis. Stress (often due to inadequate focus on faith vs. other things) greatly inhibits digestion and absorption of nutrients essential for health and healing, and inhibits other healing processes, such as having the necessary peaceful energy for healing and proper sleep.

Matthew 11:28: "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden [heavy burdens], and I will give you rest."

Hebrews 11:6: "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him."

Exodus 15:26: "And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee."

Matthew 19:26: "But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible."

Psalm 118:8: It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.

More than just physical healing:

Isaiah 53:5: "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed."

4. Water

Genesis 1:1: "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." [including water]

Water Baptism

Luke 3:16: "16 John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire:"

John 3:5: "Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God."

Matthew 3:16-17: "16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: 17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."

Acts 22:16: "And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord."

5. Sunlight

Genesis 1:14-19:
14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament [the space or expanse of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.

16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.

17 And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,

18 And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.

19 And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

6. Food

Genesis 1:29: "And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat."

In the King James Bible (published in the year 1611, and used throughout this web page for Bible verse translations), the original Hebrew word that the KJV Bible translated as "meat" was "oklah" (lə·’āḵ·lāh). Current translations for this word are more clearly understood in today's language as "food," according to the well-respected Strong's Concondorance and other sources: https://biblehub.com/hebrew/402.htm, https://biblehub.com/text/genesis/1-29.htm.

In the New Testament, Jesus ate fish and other foods consumed during the feasts. This web page is not a complete analysis of all foods mentioned in the Bible and all food-related verses mentioned in the Bible. Rather, (for now) it focuses simply on the consumption of God created foods vs. made-man food products (and other made-man substances consumed) for health promotion.

God did not say I give you processed foods, refined sugars, foods with agricultural chemicals, artificial colors, artificial flavors, genetically altered foods, non-organic foods, etc. as foods. Organic food: https://johnlutz.com/#immune_support_organic. In fact, He told us specifically to pursue healthful living:

7. Healthful Living as Healthcare

1 Corinthians 6:19-20:
"19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?"

"20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's."

Romans 12:1-2:
"1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."

Philippians 4:8: "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things."

Psalms 18:30: "As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him." Buckler: large, portable shield surrounding the whole body: http://www.kingjamesbibledictionary.com/Dictionary/buckler.

Additional Bible verses on sanctification (definition).

8. Greens

Genesis 1:30: "and to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the heavens, and to every creeping thing on the earth, in which [is] breath of life, every green herb [is] for food:' and it is so."

Greens have more vitamins and minerals (which are currently identified components of foods that have been proven to be essential for promoting health, healing and prevention of healthcare concerns) than other food groups: https://johnlutz.com/diets/100+rda-from-foods/.

9. Plants as Medicine

Ezekiel 47:12: "And by the river upon the bank thereof, on this side and on that side, shall grow all trees for meat, whose leaf shall not fade, neither shall the fruit thereof be consumed: it shall bring forth new fruit according to his months, because their waters they issued out of the sanctuary: and the fruit thereof shall be for meat [food], and the leaf thereof for medicine."

Over 100,000 nutritional (bioactive, biocompatible) components of food have been identified as having health promoting properties (such as vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin D, zinc, magnesium and others), and whole fields of science, such as nutritional biochemistry, the field of orthomolecular medicine, the field of naturopathic medicine, raw foods for health promotion and healing, juicing for health promotion and healing, and others are foundationally based upon this healing philosophy, initially defined in Genesis 1:29-30 (in the first chapter of the Bible), Ezekiel 47:12 and other similar Bible verses.

We can either learn about how to use these safe, God-created nutritional components for health promotion (in addition to prayer, rest, exercise, sunlight and other foundations of health) or we can rely on man-made, patentable, profitable molecules (drugs), which do not occur in nature, and commonly deplete many nutrients (vitamins, minerals, and other health promoting components of foods) that have been proven to be essential for health and healing (each of which have hundreds to thousands of currently known essential functions in human health), as healthcare interventions.

Additionally, greens provide a high level of chlorophyll and many other phytonutrients that support the body's detoxification systems and help promote optimal health and healing: the importance of detoxification and limiting exposure to toxic substances (related interview, adverse health effects due to toxins starts at 13:45).

Of course, drugs that enable unquestionably necessary surgery provide a very positive addition to the field of healthcare. But, for the vast majority of healthcare concerns, including immune system support, the Biblical-based natural healthcare health optimization methods described above, below, and elsewhere provide safe, inexpensive, well-proven, effective methods for health promotion.

10. Do what the Bible says to do

James 1:22: "But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves."

11. Do not live in fear

2 Timothy 1:7: "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind."

Joshua 1:9: "Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest."

Isn't it interesting that the sole message (and the soul message) of the pandemic promoters and profiteers for the last two years has been for everyone to live in fear all of the time vs. choosing to teach the public about highly effective overall health optimization methods and Biblical-based, real-world proven, research study referenced natural healthcare immune system optimization methods? Without fear, those with profitable "solutions" for the fear no longer have an effective business model. It was the pandemic promoters and profiteers who pushed the claim for the need to close churches, while keeping many other businesses open (including alcohol stores), while very actively attempting to suppress information on Biblical, nutrition, and natural healthcare solutions for immune system support and other healthcare concerns, and attempting to control all related healthcare messaging.

John 10:10: "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly."

1 The hand of the Lord was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones,

2 And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry.

3 And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord God, thou knowest.

4 Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.

5 Thus saith the Lord God unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:

6 And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the Lord.

7 So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.

8 And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them.

9 Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord God; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.

10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.

11 Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts.

12 Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.

13 And ye shall know that I am the Lord, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves,

14 And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the Lord have spoken it, and performed it, saith the Lord.

15 The word of the Lord came again unto me, saying,

16 Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim and for all the house of Israel his companions:

17 And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand.

18 And when the children of thy people shall speak unto thee, saying, Wilt thou not shew us what thou meanest by these?

19 Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand.

20 And the sticks whereon thou writest shall be in thine hand before their eyes.

21 And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land:

22 And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all.

23 Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwellingplaces, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God.

24 And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them.

25 And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children's children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever.

26 Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.

27 My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

28 And the heathen shall know that I the Lord do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.

12. The 1st and 2nd Commandments

Exodus 20:1-6:
1 And God spake all these words, saying,

2 I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image [graven image defined; idolater defined; idolatry defined], or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

13. Obtain Wisdom

Proverbs 4:5-8:
5 Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth.

6 Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee.

7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.

8 Exalt her, and she shall promote thee: she shall bring thee to honour, when thou dost embrace her.

14. Trust and Honor God for True Wisdom

Psalm 118:8: It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.

Proverbs 3:5-8:
5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.

8 It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.

John 7:14-18:
14 Now about the midst of the feast Jesus went up into the temple, and taught.

15 And the Jews marvelled, saying, How knoweth this man letters, having never learned?

16 Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.

17 If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.

18 He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.

15. God's Protection as Healthcare

Psalm 91:

1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

2 I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.

4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.

8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.

9 Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;

10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.

14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.

15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.

16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

Psalm 118:8: It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.

Video: My God is Still the Same, by Sanctus Real

Click this text to view lyrics to "My God is Still the Same."

Just ask the waves, if they are stilled at the mention of His name. They'll say my God is still the same.

Ask the walls, if they still fall at the mighty sound of praise. They'll say my God is still the same.

When did He break His promise? When did His kindness fail? Never has. Never will. My God is still the same.

When did He lose His power? When did His mercy change? Never has. Never will. My God is still the same.

Just ask the words, you prayed in desperation if they're heard. They'll say my God is still the same.

Just ask the grave, if its strong enough to keep hope in its chains. It'll say God is still the same.

When did He break His promise? When did His kindness fail? Never has. Never will. My God is still the same.

When did He lose His power? When did His mercy change? Never has. Never will. My God is still the same.

Not once did He ever stop moving. Not once has He ever let go. Not once did he ever stop proving. Our God is in control.

Not once did He ever stop moving. Not once has He ever let go. Not once did he ever stop proving. Our God is in control.

Never has. Never will. My God is still the same.

My God is still the same.

16. Pestilence

Pestilence also means "false doctrine" or an "evil influence or idea," (https://www.thefreedictionary.com/pestilence) such as:
(1) The claimed public health need to close churches, but not other business such as alcohol stores, Costco and Target, as mentioned above, ignoring Biblical teachings (presented throughout this web page and elsewhere, but especially in Psalm 91, the 1st and 2nd Commandments, Ezekiel 47:12, 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, Romans 12:1-2 and Hebrews 10:25) and additional extensively documented, science-based natural healthcare information, including the whole fields of science of nutritional biochemistry, orthomolecular medicine, naturopathic medicine, functional medicine, biological dentistry, raw foods for health, juicing for health, the importance of detoxification and limiting exposure to toxic substances (related interview, adverse health effects due to toxins starts at 13:45), exercise for health promotion, and other non-pharma health optimization methods ... not to mention the well-proven, very positive health promoting effects of social interaction, prayer and church attendance. One powerful example of these positive health effects is presented in the below video (the positive health effects of prayer, church and social-interaction in promoting health, happiness, peace and drug-free living vs. lockdowns, isolation, and gloom and doom media 24/7, which have the opposite types of effects -- adverse health effects):

Video: Walking Free, by Micah Tayler, which highlights a few (of the millions and billions of) real-world case study examples of faith-based healing for all kinds of lifestyle changes needed and all kinds of healthcare concerns.

Additionally, on the topic of "pestilence" meaning false doctrine or an evil influence or idea:
(2) The claimed public health need to order items through e-commerce delivery, as if bacteria and viruses do not associate with pizza delivery drivers and UPS, FedEx, and Post Office workers? Where is the epidemic of deaths for workers in these fields and for these companies vs. other fields of much more isolated work?
(3) The claimed public health need to wear masks, which concentrate wastes and bacteria, inhibit healthy breathing, and therefore lower oxygen levels? Oxygen is used in healthcare to kill pathogens and improve health (one highly informative example). Common sense tells us that masks are not healthy to wear, especially during any type of even very moderate physical activity. Even the strongest mask proponents do not wear them 24/7. Why not? Because masks have a negative effect on breathing and therefore health. Are we supposed to fear germs more than promote health as our primary method of healthcare? Apparently so, since "healthcare" companies are lining up with their fear-the-germ based solutions vs. offering health optimization focused solutions.
(4) The claimed public health need to social distance, as if viruses, bacteria, and other pathogens know to only contact us within 3 or 6 feet from another person?
(5) And wash hands, then touch our phones, computer keyboards, keys, wallets, purses, doorknobs, etc., each of which very likely have many times more bacteria and pathogens than toilet seats?
(6) And businesses with "healthcare solutions" for the situation have (6.1) lobbied to obtain R&D subsidies, (6.2) lobbied to obtain zero liability for harm caused by their products, (6.3) lobbied to obtain mandates for the use of their products, and (6.4) actively attempted to censor information on other methods of immune system support and health optimization? Where has this type of situation ever worked out well for consumers?
(7) While we are all supposed to increase our use of services provided by big tech companies (Zoom, Facebook and YouTube for church, Apple Facetime, Amazon for groceries, etc.), companies which profit from e-commerce and related healthcare intervention recommendations?
(8) While we are all supposed to give up our Constitutionally guaranteed freedoms (which our nation's founders fought and died for, and our military service members and others have valiantly fought to defend to the last 245 years, at great personal costs), and give up our inalienable rights too (given to us by God not man, which include life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, each of which involve making our own choices in regards to our health)?

See full research summary on Biblical, nutrition and natural healthcare methods of immune system support. If applied, all kinds of healthcare concerns can be improved, reduced, eliminated and/or cured, not just immune system related healthcare concerns, as each of these types of healthcare interventions "first, do no harm."

17. The 10 Commandments

Exodus 20:1-20:
1 And God spake all these words, saying,

2 I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

7 Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.

9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:

10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.

13 Thou shalt not kill.

14 Thou shalt not commit adultery.

15 Thou shalt not steal.

16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.

17 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.

18 And all the people saw the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw it, they removed, and stood afar off.

19 And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die.

20 And Moses said unto the people, Fear not: for God is come to prove you, and that his fear may be before your faces, that ye sin not

18. Prayer for Health and Healing

Matthew 6:1-13 (The Lord's Prayer, verses 9-13):
1 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.

2 Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

3 But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:

4 That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.

5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.

8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

11 Give us this day our daily bread.

12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

James 5:14-16:
14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:

15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

1 Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity.

2 For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.

3 Trust in the Lord, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.

4 Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

5 Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

6 And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.

7 Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.

8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil.

9 For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the Lord, they shall inherit the earth.

10 For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be.

11 But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

12 The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his teeth.

13 The Lord shall laugh at him: for he seeth that his day is coming.

14 The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation.

15 Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken.

16 A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked.

17 For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the Lord upholdeth the righteous.

18 The Lord knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever.

19 They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.

20 But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the Lord shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away.

21 The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth.

22 For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of him shall be cut off.

23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.

24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand.

25 I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.

26 He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed.

27 Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore.

28 For the Lord loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.

29 The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever.

30 The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment.

31 The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide.

32 The wicked watcheth the righteous, and seeketh to slay him.

33 The Lord will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged.

34 Wait on the Lord, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it.

35 I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a green bay tree.

36 Yet he passed away, and, lo, he was not: yea, I sought him, but he could not be found.

37 Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace.

38 But the transgressors shall be destroyed together: the end of the wicked shall be cut off.

39 But the salvation of the righteous is of the Lord: he is their strength in the time of trouble.

40 And the Lord shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him.

22. The Greatest Commandment

Matthew 22:34-40:
34 But when the Pharisees had heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, they were gathered together.

35 Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying,

36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?

37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

38 This is the first and great commandment.

39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

24. The Great Commission

Acts 1:8: "But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth."

Matthew 28:16-20:
16 Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them.

17 And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted.

18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

My God Is Still The Same

Never has. Never will. My God is still the same

Not once did He ever stop moving. Not once has He ever let go. Not once did he ever stop proving. Our God is in control.

Not once did He ever stop moving. Not once has He ever let go. Not once did he ever stop proving. Our God is in control.

Never has. Never will. My God is still the same

My God is still the same.
